Frequently Asked Questions

All products are delivered on pallets, regardless of order quantity, to help protect them from damage during transit. Orders are typically delivered within 48 hours of dispatch.  Deliveries are made by our hauliers Monday to Friday between 08:30 and 16:30, and someone must be available on site to receive the consignment. Upon delivery, customers have up to 20 minutes to inspect the consignment before signing for it. Any damage, shortages or other issues must be clearly recorded on the delivery paperwork at the time of receipt.

Yes, this is included in our bespoke service. Depending on the facing you require, we can either source direct from the manufacturer or arrange for our haulier to come to site, collect facings and then we will manufacture and return products in your desired finish.

Habibat boxes are not designed to be faced by customers, as we provide a professional facing service to ensure every product leaving our factory is fit for purpose and covered by our warranty.

If boxes are faced on site, there is a risk that the work may not be carried out in accordance with our recommended facing procedure or that the box could be damaged during the process. For these reasons, we recommend that all facing is completed by Habibat before dispatch.

Yes. All products within the Habibat integrated range are designed to be installed during the initial construction of a building or retrofitted to existing buildings, providing a simple solution for both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Usually your Ecologist will specify which boxes need siting where. However the Team at Habibat are always on hand to give you a guideline to installation and which siting locations work best for the species. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions of queries.
